• Anatomy, Physiology and Morphology of the Ageing Face
• Skin Micro-needling and Chemical Peels
• Assignment x1 – 38 questions on the above units (200-500 word answers)
• Academic Writing x2 – 2500 words with references
• Practical Assessments x12

Entry Requirement – You will need a Level 4

Course Duration – 6-12 months

If you do not hold either microneedling or chemical peels plus £200 to the qualification

£100 deposit is required to enrol.

Theory

This course will be run on a Wednesday evening from 6pm-9pm for theory-based knowledge.

The course will run as follows:

3 consecutive weeks to complete Assignment 1 Short Answer Questions (200-500 words per question)

(SAQ’s) Followed by a 2 week break to complete assignment.

Academic Writing

3 Consecutive weeks to cover theory for: Assignment 1 Ageing and its Effects on Facial Morphology and Anatomical Structures

2500 words including referencing.

4 weeks break to complete assignment and submit.

Assignment 2 Regulatory Requirements and Professional Standards in Aesthetic Practice

2500 words including references.

4 weeks break to complete assignment and submit.

Once complete a day will be organised individually to complete practical assessment.

If you cannot make lessons, you can do the course fully online or part in salon & part home – it will be the same price.

Practical

You will be required to complete 12 case studies.

• 4 manual skin needling case studies
• 4 power assisted skin needling case studies
• 4 medium depth chemical peel case studies (TCA peels)

You will need to complete 1 of each of these assessments in clinic to be formally assessed for competency, once passed further Case Studies can be completed within your own environment if preferred or split between home and clinic.
